Assessment and treatment
Gaynor Robey Physiotherapy offers a wide range of physiotherapy assessment and treatment that specialises in children’s physiotherapy in Gloucester. We are highly qualified and experienced children's physiotherapists, who are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP) and Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are also DBS (formally CRB) checked.
We are able to offer many levels of assessment, from one off consultations to ongoing regular assessments, treatments and review appointments. We work alongside you as a family to help aid your child’s progress.
Musculoskeletal/orthopaedic concerns:
Concerns regarding the development of children’s walking patterns
Concerns regarding the shape of your child’s feet or legs
General aches and pains
Other congenital orthopaedic conditions
Rehabilitation/preparation for planned orthopaedic surgery
Talipes including congenital talapis equinovarus
Torticollis (child holding head to the side).
Hypermobility Syndrome
Developmental concerns:
Babies or young children with delayed milestones (concerns around sitting, rolling, crawling, standing and walking). These may be parental based concerns or those highlighted by a health visitor or other professional at a developmental assessment
Babies with a head preference (e.g. baby only looks to one side)
An older child who is uncoordinated or clumsy.
